Pursuant to Article 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (hereinafter "GDPR").
In order to make You ("Data Subject") fully aware of the treatment that Micromegas S.r.l. ("Data Controller"), - owner of the name, trademark and domain "Shopon", will make of Your data, we inform You of the following.
Purpose
Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
deliver newsletters for informational and promotional purposes of the activities and/or products marketed by the Owner, suggest features, products that may be of interest to You based on Your preferences
interact with social networks (Facebook and Instagram) for promotional activities also through the use of cookies (see dedicated section)
receive and manage purchase orders, product supply, process payments and communicate using the contact information You provide regarding orders, products, services and promotional offers
manage the functionality of the site to make it suitable for online commerce, analyze performance, correct errors, and improve its use and efficiency
prevent and detect fraud and abuse in order to protect the security of the site
fulfill legal obligations in accounting, tax, health and food safety, trade and consumer matters
Legal basis for processing
With reference to the purposes referred to in points 1., 2., 4. and 5. above, the processing of Your personal data has its legal basis in the legitimate interest of the Data Controller to communicate and promote its business activities, including through direct marketing, and to maintain the site and the online platform suitable for the e-commerce function as well as in an adequate state of effectiveness and efficiency.
With reference to the purposes referred to in point 3. above, the processing of Your personal data has its legal basis in the activities preliminary to the conclusion of the contract and/or in the execution of the contract concluded with You.
With reference to the purpose referred to in point 6., the processing of Your personal data finds its legal basis in the legal obligations that the Controller must comply with in order to execute the contract.
Categories of personal data
The data that are processed are those collected from You for the purposes indicated above. They are personal data, contact details and other identifying data collected while browsing the website (see cookies section). On the other hand, personal data of special categories indicated in Article 9 of the GDPR (formerly "sensitive data") are not processed.
Period of data retention
The period of storage will be that which is strictly necessary for the pursuit of the individual purposes described above. However, the retention will not last beyond the eventual and legitimate objection to the processing, except for processing for legal obligations for which personal data will be retained for a period of 10 (ten) years. Once this period has expired, the data will be destroyed or anonymized.
Recipients of the data
The data provided will in no way be subject to dissemination but may be disclosed to persons who, within the limits of the purposes indicated above and in compliance with express contractual constraints to guarantee data protection, operate under the direct authority of the Data Controller (administrator and employees) or perform activities on behalf of the Data Controller ("Data Processor") (for example: couriers, online platform service provider, online payment processing, accountant, credit recovery agencies and law firms).
Under no circumstances will the data be transferred and/or communicated to countries outside the European Union.
Rights of the data subject
Pursuant to Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 20 and 21 of the GDPR, it is the Data Subject's right to be able to contact the Data Controller at any time in order to access his or her personal data, obtain its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or to object to it, as well as the right to data portability.
In addition, in case of violations, the Data Subject has the right to file a complaint against the Supervisory Authority of the State where he/she usually resides, works or the place where the alleged violation occurred.
